Broadwalk Tonight

I’m in no hurry,

taking a slow walk,

taking my time,

thinking about people and places,

left without traces,

left me behind,

Don’t suppose that you remember when,

but even then,

I think that you might,

But I never thought that I’d be missing you,

on this broad walk tonight.

Turn around,

walking round downtown,

cornered at crossroads,

searching for signs,

thinking about people and places,

left without traces,

left me behind,

Thought that I’d seen everything,

But even when

you think that you’re right

something comes along to prove you wrong

so I keep walking

on this broad walk tonight

Where do you go when you’re lonely,

Who do you turn to,

what do you say,

spend your time walking down broad walk

these days I don’t talk,

not much to say

Ah but never know what you’re looking for

just try a little more

to get it right

I get the feeling I’ve been here before,

on this broad walk tonight

I get the feeling I’ve been here before,

on this broad walk tonight.
