Winter's Rain

Winter’s rain falls down on me

I came down here to see you smile

Won’t say that I’m lonely but sometimes I need a friend

Sometimes I need to see you again

Driving on a winter’s night

I came down here trying to think slow

Thinking hw we traded secrets, how you grew on me

How we opened up our hearts to let it show

And I shared some time with you

And we grew in the sun

And I need you smiling

And sometimes , even half believing

I thought you were the one

How come you don’t talk anymore

How come you don’t even say my name

When they said that in the winter all the flowers would be gone

I didn’t think that every seed died the same

And I shared some time with you

And we grew in the sun

And I need you smiling

And seeing is believing

How could you be the one

Maybe there won’t be snow this winter

Maybe there’ll be spring

Maybe I won’t think of you again

Right now I just waste my time, think of winter’s rain

Right now I’m not smiling anymore
